An interesting and challenging day today. Waking up to the expected Trump victory and reading the last posts that the still sleeping US bloggers that I read on NetNewsWire had left behind them the night before.

It is confounding, and everyone that I’ve spoken to about it today has expressed, more than anything else, they incredulity that a man so clearly unhinged should be being accepted with open arms by half of the American population that voted.

It’s a bit like the blind eye that everyone turned to Jimmy Savile.
